New Orleans flavors are the point at Café LaFaye Coffee Co., a coffee house built on family recipes. Beignets, café au lait and specialty coffee drinks inspired by the Crescent City make it a sweet stop in the 400 block of East Louisiana.

The café is at 407 East Louisiana Street in the 400 block, grid Q14 on the printed downtown map, about an 8-minute walk from the courthouse square. It keeps company with the McKinney Flour Mill, Aven Willow Portraits and Lelo's Coffee Co., and the free downtown trolley is a handy option for the trip back toward the square.
