Who we are

The Main Street program

McKinney Main Street champions a vibrant downtown — the heartbeat of McKinney since 1848.

The Main Street Program is a nationally recognized initiative designed to preserve historic commercial architecture while driving local business development and economic growth. Marketing Downtown McKinney as a vibrant destination is one of the program's goals — and sharing that story is where the media comes in.
