About Visit McKinney

The city's tourism and hospitality office runs a visitors center downtown, stocked with information, brochures and maps about McKinney, nearby communities and the rest of Texas, plus a gift and souvenir shop. It is a useful first stop before setting out on foot.

The center is at 200 West Virginia Street, in the 200 block of West Virginia, marked D12 on the printed downtown map, about a 3-minute walk from the courthouse square. The Pub McKinney, Sugarbacon Proper Kitchen and Nan Lee Jewelry are nearby on Main Street's list.
