Murals, installations and interactive artworks invite exploration throughout downtown, thoughtfully integrated into the historic landscape, with future projects guided by the City's Public Art Master Plan.

The Courthouse Theater

The restored county courthouse at the centre of the square is the district's stage.

Three resident companies keep it busy year-round, from full-scale productions to seasonal concerts on the square, with the courtroom's own history restored around the stage.

Downtown tours

Public art, butterflies, tiny doors and ghost stories all start within a block of the courthouse. Self-guided or led — either way, the district is small enough to cover on foot in an afternoon.
